February Kanzashi
The month of February is much concerned with the subtle hints left
of Winter as it is of the upcoming bursts of Spring. You will
notice many kanzashi that seem to be stuck in a transition stage between
the two seasons, much as the flowers they are meant to portray.
March Kanzashi
The month of March is
the very beginnings of Spring.
You'll find that it is primarily
about the opening up of plant life. You will notice how many of the kanzashi
will have symbols associated with the birth of Spring, such as butterflies and
small budding plants.
April Kanzashi
The month of April is
when Spring begins to truly bloom and greenery once again returns.
Lots of life, pleasant weather, and new beginnings are found
everywhere in many facets of everyday life.
May Kanzashi The
month of May
is when the nice Spring breeze begins to come to an end to give
way to the warmer months of Summer with many bright colored
flowers heralding the oncoming season.
June Kanzashi The month of
June is truly the start of Summer with warm breezes and sunshine really starting
to appear, only to be held up by the rain that predominant this month.
July Kanzashi The month of
July
is a
time of many prominent festivals and celebrations, as well as a time of
relaxation, as this is a time many students are off on break. As such, many
kanzashi are quite festive and lively.
